First sketchbook I picked up in the studio #3

I was out having a drink and some lad drew what he wanted to get as a tattoo...

Well that didn't work...

Ouch! All for lost sketch books...

So a few weeks ago Danny Ooh Yeah threw a bag down the studio stairs expecting me to catch it. We were going out to dinner and inside the bag were two bottles of wine.

Unfortunately ... to catch a bag you have to be told it's coming down the stairs... the bag hit the wall and two (yes two) bottles of wine shattered to pieces...

The only answer was to throw the bag away so I removed everything that wasn't ruined and tossed the back pack in the garbage bin outside the studio.

There was of course a pocket I didn't look in... and it held two almost finished Moleskin sketchbooks ... well the last years drawings to be exact and they went out with the trash...

I see this blog as a way of never letting that kind of loss happen again... I can document the good bits and they shall live in the cloud of the internet... so if the physical is no longer there at least there will be digital memory.

This is not like 365 Happy Days it will not have the stress of doing a drawing a day, I'm simply going to document the best bits of sketchbooks and share them and after the wine bottle episode ... document...
